Fire's Role in Nature
In the past, wildfires were only a natural part of the ecosystem. They helped to create new plant life and prevent overcrowding in forests. But now, they are becoming more and more destructive.
Climate change is one of the main causes of this change. It has increased temperatures that dry out vegetation and make it easier for fires to spread quickly. Climate change has also caused an increase in drought conditions which makes it harder for plants to grow back after a fire.
